God has prepared the law of faith for us as a way to become righteous. The redemption of the water and the Spirit does not lie in the works of people but in the faith in the Word of God. And God delivered us for that faith. That is how God planned it and how He has completed it.

God said that anyone who believes that Jesus is the King of all kings, the true God, and the true Savior would be begotten of Him. Those who love God love Jesus, and those who truly believe in God love Jesus in the same way.

What is the “good conscience” mentioned in 1 Peter 3:21? As the Scriptures testify, it refers to those who accept and believe in their hearts the gospel of the baptism and blood accomplished by Jesus, thereby enabling them to approach the Lord with a conscience that is sinless and clean.

God appointed one representative — that is, the high priest representing the people — to lay his hands on the head of the sacrificial goat and transfer all the yearly sins of the people of Israel onto it. Just as the Israelites in the Old Testament knew and believed that their sins were blotted out through this sacrificial law, Jesus Christ came as the trespass offering to receive all the sins of all people in the world.

In whose heart does the Holy Spirit indwell? The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is not achieved through human effort or accomplishment. Only those who believe in the ‘gospel of water and the Spirit’ and receive the removal of sins in their hearts by faith can receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Do you really believe that you are becoming righteous gradually by repenting every day? Salvation is to be justified once for all and to receive salvation once for all by faith in the work accomplished by Jesus Christ.

It is not human righteousness but the superior love of God that saved sinners through His baptism and the cross. This is the love that abundantly saved all humanity from all the sins of the world. This is the supremacy of God’s love.

Bible says, “Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). “To be born again of water and the Spirit” is the only way we can enter the eternal kingdom of heaven.

The name “Jesus” means “The one who will save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21)”. Jesus came to this earth, was baptized, shed His blood on the cross to remove all the sins of the world, and rose again. He gave new life to those who believe in this truth of salvation, enabling them to live eternally with the Lord in Heaven.

When we understand well about John the Baptist, we can clearly understand and believe in the gospel of the redemption of Jesus.
