Pastor Paul C. Jong's newly published Bible study book, "1 Corinthians Seen from the Perspective of the Gospel of the Water and the Spirit," clearly testifies that only the gospel of the water and the Spirit can unite the church. Furthermore, it reveals exactly how this gospel has completely saved sinners from the sins of the world.

1 Corinthians is an epistle written by the Apostle Paul. Its core message is not simply to point out the church's problems—such as division, moral compromise, intellectual pride, the misuse of spiritual gifts, and wavering faith in the resurrection—but rather to show what the church must stand upon.

First, the Apostle Paul introduces himself as being "called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God." This is a very important declaration.

The gospel of the water and the Spirit, fulfilled by Jesus Christ, is not a man-made religious ideology, but the gospel composed of the truth of salvation that God Himself planned and accomplished.

In other words, it is the gospel that Jesus Christ received baptism from John to have the sins of the world transferred onto His own body, took the judgment for those sins on the Cross, and rose from the dead, thereby granting perfect salvation to those who believe.

This gospel is not the wisdom of the world, but the power of God; it is the ultimate answer that resolves all fundamental problems of faith.

When Paul addressed the saints of the Corinthian church—"to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints"—he meant that we have been clothed in holiness before God through the gospel of the water and the Spirit.

Therefore, our faith is not about asking, "What must we do?" Rather, by believing in the salvation already completed through Jesus Christ, we must stand firm upon this gospel as holy, sinless saints.

This is the very message that 1 Corinthians delivers to the church today.

What about you?

Have you already become one who is clothed in the holy garments of a sinless heart by faith before God?

If a sense of condemnation for sin still lingers in your heart, you must return to the gospel of the water and the Spirit through this Bible study book, "1 Corinthians Seen from the Perspective of the Gospel of the Water and the Spirit", written by Pastor Paul C. Jong of The New Life Mission.
